This accessory consists of a solid heel cup made from kydex with a high density polyethelene plate with pre drilled holes to secure heel cup to footplate (attaching bolts and locknuts provided ). Attached to heel cup are two straps with a Velcro closure to keep foot back and properly positioned in the heel cup. This accessory is beneficial for the client whose feet tend to slide rearward on the footpaltes and simple strap type accessories are not aggressive enough.

This choice for foot positioning is optimal when the primary goal is to secure the foot in a specific location on the footplate while allowing for some front of foot movement. Heel Cups are very beneficial for consumers with significant lower extremity tone.
BioForm Solid Heel Cups function in a similar fashion as the BioForm Sandals do. The base of the Heelcup is made from ½" HDPE, pre-drilled with countersunk holes for seamless mounting. The rear wall is made from ¼" kydex and is attached to the Heel Cup base with screws. The strap is affixed to the base of the Heelcup and is available with a Fastex Buckle closure or a Velcro closure.
Available in small, medium and large and come complete with all mounting hardware. Custom sizes available by selecting the appropriate model #. Sold in pairs.
